ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday hosted a special dinner for the visiting South African and national Pakistan cricket teams at the Prime Minister's House. During the event, the Premier emphasized the ongoing cricket series as a profound symbol of the lasting friendship and mutual respect between the two nations. He highlighted how the sport consistently strengthens people-to-people connections and contributes to projecting Pakistan's positive image globally.
Addressing the esteemed cricketers and officials, the Prime Minister lauded Pakistan's national side for achieving international recognition through their outstanding performances. "Pakistan’s cricketers have brought immense pride to the country on the global stage with their exceptional talent, commendable sportsmanship, and unwavering discipline," he stated, extending a cordial welcome to the South African team. He further noted the excellent, multifaceted relations Pakistan shares with South Africa, underscoring cricket's vital role in maintaining this bond.
